Tour of Ann Hill & St. Ambrose Schools

March 2009 - On time and within budget, these were the comments of Minister of Education and Human Resource Development, Ronald Jones, as he expressed his satisfaction with the progress of works to the media after a tour of the Ann Hill and St. Ambrose Primary Schools on March 14, 2009.
The two new build projects were part of a tour by officials of the Ministry to assess the progress of works on these educational institutions and to see first-hand the state of renovations. Minster Ronald Jones further stated that the Ann Hill School has been progressing quite smoothly and is on target to satisfy their completion date in July thanks to the work of the contractors, Innotech Services Limited.
Minister of State, Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, Patrick Todd was also present and was extremely pleased at the progress that has been made. He is very eager to have the students, who had been relocated, return to their brand new facilities. As the representative for the City, he also recognised that the relocation of students from the St. Ambrose School proved to be a challenge for some parents and the new facility would be a welcomed part of the social structure of the community, not only for academic pursuits of the children but also for countless after-school cultural, sporting and recreational activities for residents.
