Construction of the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park

January 2014 - January 2014 - Innotech Services Ltd once again partners with the University of the West Indies Cave Hill on another project, The Nelson Mandela Freedom Park. A ground breaking ceremony for this project was held in July 2013. The Park is being constructed in honour of the Pan Africanist, freedom fighter, anti-apartheid leader, first president of a free and united South Africa and a global symbol of justice, equality and human dignity - Nelson Mandela.

Phase 1 of the project consists of the construction of the retaining walls and steps with concrete pavers, spaced with soil to allow for grass and the foundations for the toilet facilities, bar, security hut, steps to campus and the gazebos. The project started at the beginning of September and is approximately 65% complete. The retaining walls are in the finishing stages and the ground levels being raised to install the concrete pavers and steps. We are currently working earnestly to achieve completion of this phase by early April.
