The Lodge School - Auditorium & Water Tank progress update

October 2015 -  

 The water tank will provide an additional 10,000 gallons of water for the school when commissioned.

New Auditorium : Basement and water tank areas are now complete, steel frame structure to ground floor was installed and slab cast. Block walls from ground floor to first floor and roof have commenced and raised stage area will be cast shortly. External works for retaining walls, walkways and car park have started and are progressing well. The Auditorium will have  a large open basement of approx. 5000 sq. ft.. The ground floor will provide seating for 758 persons, the 1st floor will provide seating for 164 persons, a control room, male / female changing rooms and two classrooms. The external works will consist of planters, block paving, seating areas and 140 car park spaces.

Block A : The renovation of this building is now complete with the exception of some additional works. This was a 9 week project which involved casting a new ground floor slab, concrete remedials, painting the entire interior/exterior of the building and installing new cabinets & shelves. The replacement of all electrical wiring & lights, new plumbing, sanitary ware and AC installation were also included in the contract.
